 Truth about loveToday’s Writing Prompt:

“The truth about love is …”

My 100 Words:

Jordy arched his back to alleviate the slow burning that built there before he said, “the truth about love is you can never get it back once it’s gone.”

Phil nodded and mimicked Jordy’s crouch.

The older man squinted through the rifle’s scope and watched as the laser danced on the wall.

The red dot bounced around like an angry firefly, one that the little house cat noticed.

“Come on,” Jordy growled.

Right as the cat’s hind quarters started wiggling, a woman walked into view, the laser trained on the back of her head.

Jordy smiled and pulled the trigger.
